India Asks Canada To Withdraw Dozen's Of Its Diplomats

The diplomatic crisis between India and Canada has seen a new eruption. After Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India of being involved in the murder of terrorist Hardeep Singh NIjjar, who is a Khalistani activist the issue arosed like a atom. Hardeep Singh was a wanted terrorist in India. India has asked for proof of its allegations and strongly objected to the allegations made by them. Canada has failed to provide concrete evidence over the murder of the Khalistani activist Hardeep. Both countries are in a tit-for-tat move starting from that accusation.

India has told Ottawa to withdraw more than 41 of its diplomats from the country by October 10th out of 62. India has warned of the potential withdrawal of diplomats who ever are staying beyond the specific date, as per national media. But both the Indian and Canadian governments have refused the comments on this. Canada has 62 diplomats total in India.

Earlier India also imposed a visa ban on Canadians from September 21st, that is after the advisory of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) referred to the threats of the Indian diplomats and also to a section of the Indian community. Now the latest row of reducing diplomatic strength is a new tug war.
