Indian Ambassador to United States addresses Indian American Community in Columbus

The Federation of Indian Associations of Central Ohio  organized a community interaction with Navtej Sarna, an Indian Ambassador to United States.

Addressing the Indian community, Sarna praised the contribution of Indian American community in strengthening United States and India’s relationship.

He as well felicitated 7-year old Indian-American boy Arush Kritipati at the event held in Columbus for winning the National Math Challenge in junior category conducted by Aloha, New Jersey.

The Federation of Indian Associations of Central Ohio is a non-profit organization established in 1983 to get together all Indian American groups in Central Ohio under one umbrella.

Sarna, has been elected as an Ambassador of India to United States of America in 2016.

In the event, Sarna spoke regarding the latest economic developments in India and answered wide range of questions on India-U.S. relations. He further thanked federation for organizing the event.

The federation group announced that it will be hosting the India Festival 2018 on August 25 at Ohio Expo Centre which is celebrated every year to create consciousness about Indian culture and cultural diversity of Ohio.
