Sunrisers Hyderabad keeps their Playoffs hunt Alive

Sunrisers Hyderabad is on an edge after the team lost hopes of making it to the playoffs. They kept their hopes alive after the team reported a victory against Mumbai Indians which are in the rock bottom in the points table of IPL 2022. Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl first. Sunrisers Hyderabad reported a massive total of 193 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Chasing a huge total, Mumbai Indians fell short and lost the match by 3 runs and they lost seven wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar reported a maiden over in the 19th for Sunrisers Hyderabad which was the turning point for the game. Before this, Rahul Tripathi (76), Priyam Garg (42) and Nicholas Pooran (38) have been successful with the bat which made Sunrisers Hyderabad score 193 for the loss of six wickets.

Ramandeep Singh (3/20), Jasprit Bumrah (1/32) and Daniel Sams (1/39) took the wickets among the bowlers of Mumbai Indians. Rohit Sharma (48) started off on a super note for Mumbai Indians. Tim David (46) and Ishan Kishan (43) are the other successful batsmen for the day for Mumbai Indians. Umran Malik (3/23), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/26) and Washington Sundar (1/36) took the wickets among the bowlers of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Sunrisers Hyderabad is now in eighth place currently after the victory against Mumbai Indians. Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders too are with the same points of 12 in the table along with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
