If you're looking for a simple and easy way to improve your digestion and support your stomach, professionals say that just adding two kiwis to what you eat daily could be the answer. Dr. Trisha Pasricha, who knows a lot about digestive health and teaches at Harvard Medical School, wrote in an article for The Washington Post on July 7 that eating two green kiwis every day can really help your digestion. She said, "A single kiwi gives you more than 80% of the vitamin C you need each day, and it has two to four grams of fiber." Kiwis are full of vitamins E and K, antioxidants, and a unique thing called actinidin that helps break down proteins, which makes them great for a healthy stomach. Even though you don’t have to eat the fuzzy outside, the yummy green inside has lots of good things.

Also, a study in 2022 showed that people who ate two green kiwis every day for a month had better digestion and went to the bathroom more regularly. Usually, people went to the bathroom fully one or two more times each week. For people who had trouble going to the bathroom, they felt less pain in their stomachs, had an easier time going, and felt less sick after eating. These results were supported by research in The American Journal of Gastroenterology in June 2023. This study showed that eating kiwis every day made it easier to go to the bathroom, helped people go more often, and made people with constipation and IBS-C (irritable bowel syndrome with constipation) feel better overall. Aside from helping digestion, kiwis might also make you healthier in general. In an update on Instagram on April 5, Dr. Kunal Sood, who gives people medicine to sleep and helps them with pain, talked about the many good things about this green fruit, from its antioxidant qualities to its digestive benefits, saying it could really improve your daily health.

To sum up, eating two kiwis every day could be a simple and delicious way to make your stomach healthier and improve your overall health without needing to take extra pills.
