Narendra Modi to inaugurate Abu Dhabi's first Hindu temple

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, is scheduled to embark on a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) starting on Tuesday. This will mark his seventh visit to the UAE since 2015. During his visit, he will engage in extensive discussions with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and participate in the inauguration of the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced the trip and highlighted that the discussions between Modi and Al Nahyan will focus on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as exchanging perspectives on regional and international matters of common interest.

Additionally, the MEA mentioned that the Prime Minister will also meet with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Defence Minister of the UAE. Moreover, at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Modi will be the guest of honour at the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai and will deliver a special keynote address. Furthermore, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the BAPS Mandir, the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, and will address the Indian community in the UAE at an event held in Zayed Sports City.
