Indian American IT Company, Cloudwick Technologies Charged on H1B Violations

A Company Owned by Indian American have been evidently found violating H1 B VISA regulation, the company was identified as Cloudwick Technologies, located in California.

The company officials were charged with fine of USD 173,044 in wages to twelve of its foreign employees, most of them belonging to India, who were initially paid charges below the instructed levels of requirement under the H1B program.

US Department of Labour’s Wage and Hour Division carried out the primary investigation, which revealed the information of few H1B employees of the information technology provider Cloudwick Technologies inc, who those workers who were imported with skill from India with committed pay of up to USD 8,300/month instead got paid as just as USD800 net per month.

The company was based out of Newark in California, in the most famous Silicon Valley, Indian American Mani Chhabra named a CEO of the Cloud wick Technologies as per the details given in its official website.

The Main business of the company includes, Big Data, Cloud, Advanced Analytics, Business Intelligence modernization, Data Science, Big Data Pilot-to-protection, IOT, Mobile Application Development.

According to the company website it has got esteemed clients like of Bank of America, Comcast, JP Morgan, Intuit, Home Depot, NetApp, Target, Visa and walmart.

The Investigators discovered that the company has paid skilled employees below the wage levels, which are required under the H1B programs based on Job Skills and they have also made illegal deductions from salaries of the employees.

“The action against the company comes as the Trump administration had tightened the noose on firms violating H-1B visa rules. President Donald Trump has himself accused many IT companies of abusing the work visas to deny jobs to American workers. ” said  the invesigating authorities.
