Police are investigating a robbery and sexual assault case after a woman said she was robbed and sexually assaulted when she was out on bike ride. The 24-year-old woman was riding her bicycle near Orleans around 6.20 pm on Saturday. Two men came in a full-size van and tried to force her into the van, they drove around for short time and robbed and sexually assaulted her.
They eventually let her go in an unknown area, from there she ran back to the area where she was abducted. Wayne State University police immediately responded to this incident.
The victim was immediately taken to the hospital; the suspects are described as two black men with shaved heads in their 30’s. One man had scars on his body.
