Talented actor Akshay Kumar is busy with multiple projects and his latest film Airlift is gearing up for a huge release this Friday. Raja Krishna Menon directed the film which is based on a real incident of the biggest human evacuation that took place in Kuwait. This biggest civil evacuation has been placed in the Guinness Book of World Records during the Kuwait - Iraq war. Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur and Feryna Wazheir played the lead roles in the film which has been made on a budget of Rs 40 crores. The movie has been shot in Kuwait, UAE , Rajasthan and Mumbai.
Airlift has completed all the censor formalities and the film has been awarded U/A certificate from the censor board without any cuts. There are talks that the film has been treated liberally and the makers are quite delighted that the film passed out from the censor board without any problems. Nikhil Advani, Monisha Adwani, Aruna Bhatia, Madhu G. Bhojwani, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra produced Airlift which has been slated for release all over on January 22nd across the world.
